IT'S FALL YALL!

Summer camps are over! District assembly is past! Vacations are mostly completed! It's Back To School time!

Looking ahead, here are a few things that you might want to jot down on your calendar:

  • Pastoral Training: Tuesday, September 13, we will have a special training event to help you focus on creative methods proven to increase your "people traffic" on your church property and in your buildings and to maximize those efforts to more effectively connect people everywhere to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

  • Mission Area Tour: Once again I will be meeting with all Mission Area pastors, staff, and lay leaders. Please plan to bring the leaders (paid or volunteer) of your children and youth departments. They will be equipped to return home to train all of your lay children and youth workers. We will teach them how to conduct Nazarene Safe training, to secure background checks, and to cultivate the safe haven you want your local church to be. September 19, Nashville Mission Areas
    September 20, Clarksville Mission Area
September 22, Goodletsville and Hermitage Mission Areas
September 26, Columbia and Fly Mission Areas
    September 27, Waverly Mission Area
    September 29, Memphis Mission Areas
The exact locations will be announced soon.

Fall Planning - EXTRAVAGANZA

Extravaganza Athletics & Arts

This year we will hold an extravaganza athletics weekend and a separate arts weekend. If a student participates in the athletics weekend they will not have to pay a separate registration fee to participate in the arts weekend. Our goal is to host tournaments for all athletic events. You will be contacted soon with information on how to register and more specifics. We also want to give all students enough time to prepare for the arts event and be able to concentrate on their pieces instead of juggling the tournaments.

Your Athletic director will be Daniel Meadow (drmeadow@gmail.com)
Your Arts Director will be Andy Keffer (andykeffer@parklanenazarene.org)

The dates and locations are:
Athletics-November 11th-12th @ Hermitage
Arts - February 3rd-4th @ Clarksville Park Lane

Snow Dates are February 10-11
